A parody of the 1960s teen films. I'm really glad and surprised that this seems to be rapidly developing a cult knowledge; I'm beginning to see this film pop up all over. It's directed by George Axelrod, who wrote The Manchurian Candidate among other scripts, and it's very ahead of its time. It's very dark; it features Roddy McDowall killing folks so Tuesday Weld can get ahead. The best thing? It's available easily on DVD for under $8 in the US.
