Hailing from Germany, the mysterious Tilman Hausherr has been a long-time Internet warrior against religious cults (Scientology in particular), hate, and sheer idiocy. (The Internet is overflowing with idiocy, so he's got his work cut out for him.) He's one of the oldest participants in the alt.religion.scientology newsgroup, having been there since its earliest days long before the online Scientology wars went mainstream.

Tilman's tenacity in dealing with many net.kooks and other online morons has revealed a new corollary to Godwin's law: "If a participant in a Usenet discussion lives in Germany, he will be called a Nazi at the first sign of any disagreement whatsoever." Tilman has been called a Nazi so often, he's set up his own Web page of people who've called him a Nazi!
