Tubeway Army

Gary Numan's early band which put out his first two records (and a later B-side/rarities comp called The Plan), before he went solo with The Pleasure Principle. Only the bassist, Paul Gardiner, stayed with Gary Numan after Tubeway Army went away, but he died a few years later of an overdose.

Gary Numan's stuff is pretty awesome, but I tend to prefer the stuff he did with Tubeway Army, to be honest. Replicas is a fucking amazing record.
