One of the last bastions of anarchism (and 1960s-era "fight the power" hippies) in the Boston area. These folks are the descendants of the original Red Book Store, and they follow in its footsteps by encouraging political activism of all sorts. Animal-rights groups, political radicals, and wackos from the fringe hold regular public gatherings at this place (the Center prides itself in catering to extremists of both the liberal and conservative bent). They also have regular "anarchist film" screenings on Wednesdays.
