Psychotropedia by Russ Kick is a fat book consisting of brief descriptions of lesser-known books, comics and magazines. It is a kind of foolow-up to his earlier guide, Outposts.

With the help of this fantastic reference guide, which deserves a place in the Temple of Excremeditation as a fine read in its own right, I have found some of the most satisfying, truly weird and highly original writings I have ever encountered. There is a guide at the back for ordering from publishers, and the excerpts from the many obscure titles are frequently accompanied by small pictures.

This is a truly necessary index of the kind of books that make me feel happy to be alive - ones written by other mutants, that is.
