Following in the footsteps of the Fortean Times, Strange Magazine is an American-based counterpart dedicated to seeking out unusual and mysterious phenomena, in a Fortean perspective. The magazine's late publisher, Mark Chorvinsky, was a self-proclaimed skeptic who catered more to the supernatural fans than most skeptics do. He passed away in July of 2005 – right after the publication of issue #23 of the magazine – and the future of Strange Magazine is unfortunately in doubt as a result.
