Be bold

The influence of Wikipedia upon the High Weirdness Project is certainly obvious – any wiki listing these days is likely to steal from and imitate that fine online encyclopedia. It has already been stated that we do not follow Wikipedia's so-called "neutral point of view." We are biased, and we are proud to be biased.

However, there is one concept from Wikipedia that applies equally to any and all of the listings on this Web site:

BE BOLD with your edits.

This Web site is continually under construction, and none of the listings here can be considered "finished" and "unchangeable." You are free to add to the content of all of the pages here (except for the locked pages). You can edit the existing text, re-format the pages, create your own pages, add your own subjects, and edit the text written by other users of this Web site. You are free to do pretty much anything you want, as long as you follow the cardinal rule of this site. And that rule is:

THE SUBGENIUS MUST HAVE SLACK!

SLACK is the final goal of the High Weirdness Project. All of the listings here lead to Slack. And if you feel that you can change an existing page in such a way that it provides more Slack, then GO AHEAD and change that page! (This includes my own edits and writing! – Modemac) As of this writing, most of the listings here are no more than a paragraph in size, and the initial topic pages little more than stubs with links to the more detailed reviews. Go ahead and add more content to these pages! Give us more Slack with your edits! Open our eyes, and show us things we would not have found if YOU had not shown us the way! SLACK is the ultimate answer!

And with that in mind, feel free to apply another golden rule of the Church of the SubGenius to these pages:

Too much is always better than not enough!

Some pages here may be locked from editing, at the discretion of the administrator and certain selected editors. This is necessary to prevent total chaos from disrupting the High Weirdness Project. If you want random chaos just for the hell of it, go and bother the Discordians. We are working towards a Final Solution here, and that Solution is (again): SLACK!
