This site has compiled a massive collection of sick, strange links (with more of an emphasis on "funny" weird sites than my own Web site!). There are a bunch of Web sites out there that try to gross you out with sick pictures, but "It's Scary Out There" is one of the best (if not the best) because it digs up an amazing number of FUNNY and SICK sites, including many kooks that I wish I'd discovered myself! Best of all, this site is updated daily. Many of those other "gross-out" sites seem to have gone defunct.

What's more, the site's operator "Link Digger" has even taking to using the High Weirdness Project's Bulldada Newsblog as a source for some of its kook listings. I don't mind this at all – that's the whole point of this Web site! We're here to spread the word about the Conspiracy, and it's good to see other sites taking up our battle cry.

In early 2010, this site began having problems with its domain, and it quickly went through several name changes. In January 2010 the site changed its name and domain to It's Scary Out There (www.itsscaryoutthere.com), then in March it changed again to Offbeat Web (www.offbeatweb.com). The reason for this, it turned out, is because a couple of people out there have dedicated themselves to making Link Digger's life hell. He writes, "I had to go to the police station and file a harassment complaint on this stuff, it's that bad. I got a case number and all. Had to print out those sites and gave the cops other stuff. Link Digger writes, "I've already complained about it, but if you could that would get it taken down. Also here are the three websites by this […], go ahead and put them up. The Grifter one has all the dirt, and makes for intense fun kook reading. If only your friends would hit the abuse button on it, I would be forever grateful for all eternity. This chick is a real nutball.
