Most of you have probably noticed that my ISP closed
down my page, the I'll try to sum up the aftermath:

- Scandinavia Online (SOL) closes down Operation
  Clambake (OC) February 5th 1997.
- I receive a short mail informing me about the
  action, ordering me to remove the material they
  claim is "most likely" copyrighted. SOL will
  not open the pages again unless a court tells
  them to do so.
- I reply immediately and ask what files or what
  part of what files they refer to and ask to
  see the documentation for the claims and who
  made them. 
- I post news about the event to ars and two
  Norwegian newsgroups.
- Ingar Holst puts up a full mirror of OC on his
  account on Eunet.
- The press in Norway starts calling me and SOL.
  (oh Kobrin, you've done it _again_!!!)
- More mirrors of OC appears when the news get
  out. (I told you this would happen)
- SOL answers none of those questions, I'm referred
  to a director for more information. 
- After not being able to reach him on the phone,
  someone at last gives me his email address.
- Same day (February 10) I send a mail to this 
  guy where I make it clear that for me to do
  anything I first need to see the claims and
  know what files whoever has complained about.
  I also ask that they open the OC page again,
  since most of the material there in no way
  can be claimed to originate from RTC or CoS.
- Next day I get a reply, it states that SOL 
  has tried to contact me prior to the closing,
  but unfortunately he had typed wrong in my
  address. He promises to reopen any page not
  demanded removed by RTC. He also tells me that
  the communication they have had with RTC is
  marked confidential, he therefore can't show
  this to me. (great system of justice this...)
- I reply to this mail, but so far no response.
- All the time the debate has been very busy on
  the two Norwegian newsgroups. This surely 
  stirred up some interesting thoughts and new 
  critics.
- Ingar's page goes down on Friday 14th, but a 
  new mirror was already there to take over.
  And more will be when that one goes down.
  This means that OC has been available on the
  net all the time with only minor breaks not
  longer than some hours.
- The focus now is to make OC available again on
  my home page, with or without the documents that
  RTC has complained about. 
- I just learned that brochures offering Dianetic
  courses has been distributed in my neighborhood,
  even though CoS have no "church" here. Now I
  know they are here. But I must say it took time,
  it's now 3 months since I was all over putting
  information about CoS in the mailboxes of all
  my neighbors. I suspect they know very well
  what kind of organisation this is. Wonder why
  they didn't put the brochure in my mailbox? ;)
- More media coverage is coming, SOL better clean
  up their act if they don't want to get more 
  dirt on them.

Since McShame has given a written testimony that
CoS monitor A.R.S. I hereby ask for any proof of
copyright on any of the documents on my page. 
And by the way, send it through my lawyer (you
know Kobrin, the nice guy who sent you that fax).

The shit hit the fan again, Kobrin better learn
to aim better than this.
