I will post it in a.b.s. as soon as I have had it scanned, hopefully later today. Here are my comments to it. One: The rag is dedicated to me. It's sole purpose seems to be to attack me and my doings with the scienos' Sekrit Skreeptures; some general sauce is added in the end, in a vain effort to make it look as a normal magazine. Excellent. I feel honoured. Freedom has appeared with two issues in Sweden - ever - and both are aimed at me. Freedom Sweden wouldn't exist, had it not been for me. If I had any worries about not being enough of a thorn in the eye of scientology, they just dissipated. It is notable that the physical quality of this issue is considerably lower than that of the previous one. Gone is the glossy paper, gone is the deep print. Is the org running out of money? Two: The quality of the contents on the other hand is at a stable bottom level. The scienos attack wildly left and right, throwing mud indiscriminately. In many parts the rag is probably prosecutable for libel, but I doubt that any of its targets will bother to prosecute. The mud is thrown so badly, that most of it falls back on the scienos themselves. I really feel so sorry for the scienos. Once again they prove that they can't do anything right. The advise at the bottom of this message is for free. Three: The scienos seem to have mixed up their objectives. They are attacking me (and the parliament and some of its members and employees) and they demand loudly that the "injustice" done them ceases. Now, I ask, what's the point? Is the objective of this campaign to take revenge on the people responsible, to change the Swedish constitution, to create public debate about scientology or is it to limit the distribution of the NOTs? If it is the latter, it is all in vain. The distribution of the NOTs will not cease, no matter what, not before the NOTs become the number one source of pollution on the Earth. Dear scienos, please get it into your thick heads: the copying and distribution of the NOTs will continue even if the Swedish constitution changes, even if you win all your cases, even if whatever. There is no point in you making more and more enemies (and yourselves more and more ridiculous) in your attempts to stop the parliament from copying NOTs, for the simple reason that if you succeed, the copying will continue in a million other places. Actually it will be intensified if you succeed. Don't you see it? "The scripts that changed the Swedish constitution", everybody will want to read them. So get it, finally: YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST THIS BATTLE, lost it forever. Period. Put me and all your other critics in jail, have us executed against a wall, it doesn't matter. The NOTs will keep multiplying out of your control. What you want to do is unaccomplishable, it's absolutely impossible. What you should do is shut up and bury the matter, so that at least it gets forgotten after a while. What you are now accomplishing is to attract still more people to examine you and your crap scriptures. I've told you this before and I say it again: you are your own worst enemies. You have to learn not to mess with people too much, or sooner or later you run across those that will not let themselves be messed with, and then you get in serious trouble. * Here is my little free advise to the scienos, my four easy points to remember on how to make a better propaganda rag: A. Not everybody shares your opinions. It is not enough to define your target and then throw any shit on it. What is a character assassination to one person, can be honouring to another. So when you plan to drag someone in the mud, you have to pick your audience carefully first, examine it, and limit yourselves to what that audience will perceive as bad. Instead you have assumed that everybody shares your values and attacked your enemies with arguments that will only do them good in the eyes of the public. It's like the communist party publicly attacking someone for "anti-revolutionary activities". No matter if the attack took place in the Soviet Union or in the USA, the result of it could only be increased public sympathy for the target. Even if the attack was fully justifiable, it would miss its target. B. Not everybody shares your low taste. Attacking people doesn't work if you get too vulgar. Even if you feel like smearing your enemies in shit, you have to observe some decorum and good taste in order to raise public sympathy. You overdo it, and your attack comes rambling down onto yourselves. The reaction is distaste towards you, and the original reason of the attack, that maybe had a chance of being deemed right, is forgotten. I guarantee you that your rag, this time just like last time, will only raise anger against you. C. Not everybody shares your low intelligence. It may be fun to twist facts and use cheap lies, but people can see through more than you would expect. In order to pass a lie, you have to serve it in a lower tone and mixed with some truth. You have to observe moderation and respect your public. Preferably you should attack your enemies without any lies at all. Your "acceptable truths" are acceptable to you, but not to most other people. "Screaming" at the top of your voice, which in this case is throwing lies, invectives, a high-strung tone, suggestive captions and unfavourable pictures all in one rag, warns people off. Your lack of objectivity and your wish to make your point at any cost become so apparent, that not even the occassional truth in the context will be believed. D. You are not the best. Contrary to what you might think, your OT-powers don't make magazines. They don't make anything else either. The rag is a sorry excuse for a publication. Your public relations in general are a disaster. It takes the best professionals to do the kind of lobbying and public-opinion manipulations that you are proposing to accomplish; not your amateurish bad-quality all-out attacks. Page 1: Editorial and a report from the gathering in Stockholm of those second rate scholars last November. Both discuss copyright, freedom of speech and what is wrong with the Swedish constitution. Both are written in the well-known propaganda up-tone of the scienos. Page 2: Continuation from page 1. Page 3: Continuation from page 2 and an article on Dennis and Grady, or rather on Whyte. Sorry Keith, no mention of you. In a very short quote the Kobra says "naturally we are satisfied". Good for her. Page 4: "Friends of Disorder", a totally confused article mixing together the CAN, Barbro Westerholm - an MP the scienos don't like much - psychiatrists, the bad press, Tom Thyblad - the head of the office of the chamber of the parliament - a couple of critical ex-scienos, the famous Dr. Wilson (yes, Oxford etc) and of course yours truly. Don't ask about the context; there isn't any. The title could just as well be "A paranoic's view on persecution". Page 5: Continuation from page 4. Page 6: "The criminal background", a story about Scott and Lawley and the Swedish copyright terrorist Panoussis. Page 7: "Madness in Stuttgart", meaning that the scienos are no longer allowed to mask their proselytism as philanthropy and "The American State Department gives a thrashing to Germany", a fine article aimed at improving the European understanding and acceptance of the USA. Pages 8-12 contain the "sauce"; things like "Efficient Programmes Create a Stable Society", "Churches of Scientology Serve Their Communities" and the like. The rag concludes with an article by Our Beloved Great Leader called "What is Greatness?", where Our Respected Great Leader teaches love for your next. I didn't even bother scanning these pages.
