Hello xxxx xxxxxxxxx, jenifer sent you this message from The Columbus Homeschoolers Park Days Group on Meetup.com: ---------------------------------------------------------------- xxxx You seem like a concerned parent. Please research people you find on the internet before exposing them to your children... http://www.subgenius.com/bigfist/fun/devivals/8XDay/8X-Day_Pics/1-WeiCam/8X_WeiFaves_2/image-html/X4019-RevChris_Lee_Magdale.html http://www.subgenius.com/bigfist/fun/devivals/Detroit_11-29-03/image-html/_swagdalen1.html http://www.subgenius.com/bigfist/fun/devivals/6XDay/6XDay-PicsTN/WeiPortraitsTN/_wei-016.newmag.html http://www.subgenius.com/bigfist/fun/devivals/6XDay/6XDay-PicsTN/Frop-DecPortsTN/_frop-065-mag.html I was thinking about joining this group too, but I did a little research first. Apparently, Rachel and her husband, Steve are in a cult called the Church of the SubGenius. From what I have gathered, (mostly from court transcripts Rachel posted on the internet,) Rachel's ex took her to court a few years ago after years of voicing his concerns. Rachel moved her son into another man's house, other than her husband's without notifying the boy's father! From what I have read, the boy's father was able to prove in court that Rachel violated every single order court stipulations. Rachel's violations, as well as her cult involvement, and Rachel not properly caring for her son (I guess he has untreated asthma, and failure to thrive), as well as doctored home school records, made her lose custody of her son. She in turn put the whole thing on the internet, including her son's social security number, address, and pictures, and began begging for money, claiming legal injustice! The newest information I could find is that she in turn pulled the whole thing back into court, and used the excuse that she wanted to enroll her son in school to get the judge to let her bring her son back here (I guess the whole thing happened in NY). I feel really sorry for this child, and I pray that it all works out for him! I didn't mean to alarm you, but I figured I would share my research with you so that your children are, protected as well!
